Justine celebrated its 40th Birthday at the upmarket Le Chatelat Residence, Sandhurst in Sandton this past Friday, the 22nd of Feb.
Justine with its partner Avon have never ever disappointed with their events and this one was no exception. With the beautiful outdoor setup and photographers snapping arrival pictures, I’m undoubtedly sure everyone felt like a star. Sandy Ngema who is the face and celebrity spokesperson for Justine was the emcee for the afternoon. She looked uber-elegant as usual and her makeup was on point. I kept thinking ‘I’d love to do her makeup someday’
I must say I loved the exclusivity of the event, you could count the number of guests who were there, and most of them were from our fellow publications both online and print…
To mark their birthday, Justine was introducing their amazing ‘new’ Tissue Oil-Justine Tissue Oil Gold Expert Skin Repair. Justine tissue oil has always been the best -something I can personally vow to as I’ve been using it since I was 1st introduced to it.
Justine Tissue Oil Gold (the Gold standard) is a definite upgrade – right down to its packaging. It is a clinically tested formula which has a high concentrate of oil soluble Vitamin C- a major technological breakthrough renowned for its anti-ageing, radiance enhancing and collagen stimulating properties. Nourishing, soothing oils, including sweet almond oil, are combined with a unique sunscreen complex to effectively moisturise, even-out skin tone and improve the appearance of both new and old scars. In just 28 days, the tissue oil fades dark spots, reduces the appearance of scars, improves skins clarity, firmness and evens out skin tone.
We also got to test their new fragrance; Zahara Eau de Parfum (which I must stress has nothing to do with our very own singer Zahara). This new scent is beautiful for everyday use and I must say I’m taken already. It launches this May so be on the lookout for it then.
The beautiful pint sized Nomfusi graced us with her presence and her soothing music for the event.
As usual Justine had goody bags for every guest. I was forced to get two goody bags since Jo, our editor, had literally threatened my life if I didn’t get her one, so as always I ended up looking like ‘that girl’ that has no shame J
Both Avon and Justine has been doing an amazing job as a beauty house, and I’d advise all ladies – and gents as well- to try it out. I’m a fan of their products and I’m always impressed!
Well done to Siza Maitja and Kabi Sono and the Justine and Avon team…
Let me stop before it looks like I’m being paid by Avon/Justine
Editor’s Note: Let me just say I am completely appalled by Nomsa’s blasphemous allegations. I did no such thing!! She – ahem- did however- out of the pure goodness of her heart (bless her soul) get me said goodie bag – and being the nice person that I am, I couldn’t bear to cause her the obvious hurt and pain my refusal of the gift would obviously bring. So I – ahem – reluctantly accepted
As always Justine did not disappoint. I love love love their products and this time is no exception – I can’t wait to dig into my treasure of goodies.
Happy 40th Birthday Justine. Here’s to another 40 years and more of you making women beautiful a priority!
